  • National Smile Month

    National Smile Month is a charity campaign all about championing the benefits of having good oral health and promoting the value of a healthy smile. Between 17 May and 17 June, the Oral Health Foundation will be raising awareness of important health issues and ready to put a smile on everybody's face. We want you to join us and make a positive difference to the oral health of millions of people. During National Smile Month, we are promoting four key messages for better oral health: Brush teeth for two minutes, last thing at night and one other time during the day, with a fluoride toothpaste.

  • The Brilliant Club 2021

    12 Year 6 pupils graduated from the Scholars Programme, having undertaken seminars with a university tutor and completing an assignment on 'What is fairness?' All pupils received individual feedback from their assignment and we are proud to say that several of our pupils achieved a first class honors. We know that these children will continue to achieve greatness and be leaders of the future. CONGRATULATIONS to the brilliant club graduates of 2021!   • Remembrance Day

    The Student Council representatives from across the school joined other schools from our diocese around the War Memorial in Central Park on Monday to mark the 100th anniversary of the two minute silence and to join in with paying their respects to all those who were so brave during the war. Children read out readings and poems and listened to the Last Post. It was of course a sombre occasion, but one that is no less important 100 years on from when it started.

  • MacMillan Coffee morning and Cake Sale

    We have been involved in a number of different events since the start of the school year. We had a Coffee Morning for the new Reception and Nursery parents followed by an afternoon tea to fund raise for the MacMillan Cancer Trust. Cakes were sold throughout the day and in the playground after school. Thank you to our wonderful PTA members and Mrs Dourado for organising these events.

  • Skipping challenge to help raise money for Cancer Research UK

    Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer. St Edward's are taking on the 100 Skips a Day Challenge to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.
