Remembrance Day

All children at St Edward's have been learning about 'Remembrance Day' through a range of activities such as creative writing, art projects and assemblies. Our pupils learn the history of the day , honour those who have served in conflict, and understand the importance of peace. Pupils in Year 6 have been selling poppies to raise money for the Royal British Legion which helps raise funds for the armed forces community. Our Pupil Parliament pupils were also part of a 'Remembrance Day' service with other pupils across Newham schools.
