Parish

As a Catholic school our faith is integral to everything we do and think at St Edwards. After all, 'following Christ we reach our goals!'

We are closely linked with the church of our Parish, Our Lady of Compassion, in Upton Park. Our classes take it in turns to go to mass on Tuesdays and we also have a whole school mass on important days such as the ends of term or other occasions like St Edward's Feast Day.

Bishop Alan also comes to visit our school once a year, he has blessed our school stain glass windows and our new playground.

St Edward's is lucky enough to have a fantastic relationship with our Father Angelus. Father Angelus is the priest of Our Lady of Compassion church and also serves as a school governor. He leads many of our school mass services and is often visiting the school to see the children in assemblies, plays and lessons.
